The Birdhouse at Invergarry is a purpose built one bedroom holiday apartment for two adults. Situated in a courtyard garden, with plenty of outside seating. The property is walking distance to Windermere and Bowness and easy walking to both the lake and the train station. The fully equipped kitchen, dining room and lounge is all open plan. Mood lighting and underfloor heating throughout. The kitchen has a dishwasher, cooker, fridge freezer and a breakfast bar for informal dining. The bathroom has a spa bath and rain shower. We are pet friendly however do charge an extra twenty pounds total for them.
Victoria and Steve moved to the Lake District in 2010 and followed our dream of buying a guest house in Windermere. Our guest house is still being run by us, Invergarry Guest House and we built The Bird House in the garden of it in 2018. We adore the Lakes and are always keen to help plan trips or offer advice on the area.
We are within walking distance to both Bowness & Windermere towns. Both towns boost many pubs, bars and restaurants. We are one mile from the lake shore and of Windermere train station. There is loads of walks from the front door and we offer a walking guide to assit.
