About this property
A charming, cosy English pub, serving locally sourced produce on its modern British menu, and a selection of ales, fine wines, and seasonal cocktails in the bar. Nestled in the quiet, pretty village of Littleton, outside Winchester, it has free onsite parking and free Wi-Fi available. The 15 stylish rooms include Freeview TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Each has its own private bathroom or shower room. With character and charm, the 12 ensuite rooms include a flat-screen TV, Roberts DAB radio, hair dryer, Nespresso coffee machine and toiletries The breakfast option includes a choice from the menu of cooked breakfasts plus a range of continental items and inclusive juice and hot beverages. The Running Horse offers a lovely countryside setting, a 25-minute drive from the New Forest National Park. Alternatively, the attractive former capital city of Winchester is just a 12-minute journey in the car. Winchester’s major landmark, Winchester Cathedral is one of the largest in Europe. The M3 motorway is 4 miles from the property and the A34 is less than a 5-minute drive away. We believe that dogs are part of the family and there is no need to leave any four-legged guests behind for your staycation. We have created special packages for overnight stays in our bedrooms that we have designated as dog friendly. Complete with their own doggy bed, blanket, bowl, and welcome box of tasty treats, up to a maximum of two dogs per room can stay with you, where available, for £20 per pet, per night.
