Our self- contained, 1000 square feet, self-catering apartment at Rubantina; is close to the Town Centre and Beach ( a ten minute riverside walk). You’ll love the peaceful location, the neighbourhood, the outdoor space and the tranquillity to simply unwind and relax. It's ideal for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families.
The full address is Rubantina, Colway Lane, Lyme Regis. DT7 3AR.
David and his wife Angela live in the adjacent bungalow and are available at most times to help their guests in anyway they can, to ensure them a pleasurable stay. David is an internationally recognised portrait artist and works from his studio on site.
They, however, respect the privacy of their guests and only advise if requested.
Simultaneous translation in 34 languages is available should it be required.
Lyme Regis is an ancient down awarded it's Royal Charter in 774 A.D
The sea is its food and seeing the historic harbour, the Cobb, is a must.
The sea has abundant wildlife and rockpooling is great fun for all ages, but check the tide times carefully before venturing out. (Tide Tables are available in the apartment).
Lyme is famous too for its fossils and there's no need to climb the cliffs to find them. Many can be found along the seashore but again, be aware of the tides.
Lyme Regis has its own small bus service and guests can make the short journey in the town by catching the bus at the end of our drive.
There are also two reliable taxi firms which operate in the town. Contact numbers are available in the guest information pack on the apartment.
