Number 3 @ Victoria is a stunning Edwardian traditional sandstone townhouse in Dumfries. Built in 1905 and renovated to a superb luxury standard throughout, the property oozes period charm with abundant original features but with a contemporary twist. Number 3 @ Victoria really has the wow factor! Built in 1905 and renovated in 2021 to a superb luxury standard throughout, the property oozes period charm with abundant original features including ornate cornice, panelled doors throughout but with a contemporary twist. Number 3 @ Victoria is quite simply a beautiful, stylish holiday property where you will feel at home. It is warm and welcoming, bright and airy, and all rooms are fitted with USB sockets for charging all of those devices and gadgets and Wi-Fi throughout the house. It is located in a popular residential area which is within 5 minutes walking distance to historic Dumfries town centre and is the perfect base to explore the beautiful Solway Coast and rest of D&G.
HI I'm William, I've lived in Dumfries for 25 years now and wouldn't move to anywhere else in Scotland. The area has so much to offer travellers and my property Number 3 @ Victoria is the perfect base in the regional capital Dumfries to explore beautiful Dumfries and Galloway. I have renovated Number 3 @ Victoria which has been a labour of love and has taken over 6 months to complete. I'm excited to now share Number 3 @ Victoria with travellers. I live nearby so if there are any issues which is unlikely I am on hand to resolve these quickly
The river Nith and Dumfries Town Centre with many bars, restaurants and shops is a five/10 minute walk from Number 3 @ Victoria. The local museum and observatory is a 5 min walk away as is the Devorgilla bridge house museum. The recently restored Peter Pan Moat Brae House and Burns house are also close by. There are riverside walks in both directions to either the Dock Park, Castledykes park and the Burns walk . Number 3 @ Victoria is situated in an established and quiet residential area close to the main route to the glorious Solway Coast beaches of Sandyhills, Kippford and Rockcliffe. Public transport is nearby with bus stops on hand and Dumfries train station is a 15 minute walk from Number 3 @ Victoria where you can travel to the main cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh. If you want to explore more of this beautiful area, there are attractions in abundance. With sailing, swimming, horse riding, fishing, golf, boat trips and water sports close by, there is something for everyone. Warmed by the Gulf Stream, there are many beautiful gardens to visit, including National Trust Threave Gardens. Close to the Galloway Forest Park,
