Just a couple of minutes drive away from the Monsal Trail, both walkers and cyclists can enjoy a great day out. The Tissington Trail offers an equally fabulous experience. Further afield, the famous dark gritstone of Kinder Scout and the contrasting limestone of Cavedale, offer more Peak District walking routes filled with interest and a sense of adventure. Close by, and easily accessible by car, are Bakewell, Castleton and also Chatsworth House, the ‘Palace of the Peak’ where more stunning surroundings can be enjoyed as the rolling Derbyshire Hills demand your attention.
