Ivy House has been beautifully refurbished and modernised in a delightful choice of decor and furniture and has been given hints of old English charm around the property. Set in the heart of the village within Hawkshead, this Georgian property is in perfect surroundings with it's neighbours. Family ran to provide the upper most care and attention to detail, giving guests the requirements they need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in the lake district. Relaxing environment, guests are invited to enjoy the natural landscape, the leisurely walks surrounding the area, enjoy the cycle paths into nearby villages, and for the adventurous guests there is kayaking nearby too, and go ape in Grizedale forest. Whatever you want from your weekend away we are here to ensure that happens and you enjoy your stay.

Close to local pubs and eateries. Great for all lake district lovers, walkers, cyclists. Close to Beatrix Potter Hill Top museum, Grizedale forest, Esthwaite Trout Fishery, William Wordsworth museum, Wray Castle. Coniston, Latterbarrow, Ambleside are all close to us too. Fantastic local shops, and art galleries, chocolate factory, Peter Rabbit shop, village supplying local produce such as Hawkshead Relish and Grasmere Gingerbread.
