About this property

This unspoilt 16th-century coaching inn overlooks the rolling countryside and offers a warm welcome and good food in a relaxed, traditional setting between Oxford and Cheltenham. The en-suite rooms and the four-poster room are all different, and have pleasant views. The Head Chef, Christophe Arcalis, creates menus that feature seasonal local produce. The Inn also specialises in fresh fish, all delivered daily, direct from Devon and Cornwall. The Inn for All Seasons fronts the A40 3 miles west of Burford - the gateway to the Cotswolds. Bibury, Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold, Cirencester and Chipping Norton are all within a 20-minute drive. Nearby National Trust properties include Sherborne Estate & Lodge Park, and Chedworth Roman Villa.

Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 8.6 for a two-person trip.
