Lounge Holidays are thrilled to offer “Hafan Y Talgarth” bungalow, a really well-presented retreat, situated on the edge of Pennal Village within the award-winning, Macdonalds Resort, incorporating a bar, restaurant, pools, Gym, Health Spa, kids playground, and more, all set in acres of parkland in The Snowdonia National Park, within the picturesque River Dyfi valley and close to sandy beaches in Tywyn and Aberdovey. This lovely 3-bedroom holiday home enjoys gorgeous views and is an oasis of calm. NB: The on-site facilities are chargeable and not included in the rental.

Neighbourhood information

The whole of Snowdonia is on your doorstep. Pennal is close to Cader Idris a spectacular walk! The Cambrian Coast has miles of sweeping sandy beaches. The World famous Center for Alternative Technology (CAT), King Arthurs Labyrinth, and The Corris Craft Centre are a short drive. Pennal is 4 miles from the historic market town of Machynlleth and 5 miles from the pretty harbour village of Aberdovey with Tywyn just a 10 minute further drive. The Welsh Coastal path runs through the estate, virtually past the front door. A perfect location for walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers and nature lovers. All around are public footpaths that will take you to the banks of the gorgeous Dyfi River. If you are into cycling or horse riding, there are numerous scenic places to ride. And how about a ride on the World famous Talyllyn Narrow Gauge Railway in Tywyn? A perfect family destination to make memories.
