CWB PROPERTY DEVELOPMENTS LTD has only recently been setup and commenced trading, March 22. The intention is to grow a portfolio of holiday and temporary lettings to support travelers working away from home and holiday makers. Guests come first and the quality of rooms will always be prioritized to ensure comfort and the overall experience when staying us is relaxing and stress free. We welcome feedback, both positive and negative, to act upon and improve the facilities to meet your expectations. You should be safe, secure and comfortable at all times.

Property information

Please note, the house is not a hotel and access is self administered. The house is not the GEORGIAN HOUSE HOTEL which is a completely separate premises. There are no onsite staff, however contact details are made available in the event you have any problems. The property is, as you may well see, totally refurbished from top to bottom and should offer you a trouble free stay. This is an ideal location if you are planning the COAST TO COAST cycling/walking challenge, and we have a secure area to lock bicycles at the rear of the property. The house consists of an open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen, 4 bedrooms and bathrooms, a utility suite and to the rear of the property an outside sitting area to relax and enjoy the sea air. Please feel free to use the media systems and utilities including washing, cooking, refrigerator etc. at your convenience, do let me know if you observe any faults or issues with all appliances. There is a full central heating system throughout and controlled remotely by a phone app. This is supplemented underfloor heating on the ground floor and an electric option for bathroom radiators should the heating system be switched off. CCTV is utilized to monitor the premises for security purposes only and also has an alarm system.

Neighbourhood information

The house is situated in the town center, though it benefits being set away from roads and avoiding daily and night traffic. All local restaurants, shops and places of interest are within walking distance. The stand out interest would be the marina, just a short walk of 3 minutes away. Many of the wall mounted pictures were hand selected by myself, to illustrate the history of Whitehaven and the Lake District. The most significant downside to the town and immediate vicinity is the poor parking options. Though the best and closest parking is situated close to the marina, just a couple of minutes walk away and reasonably priced.
