Fourteen Westgate is a delightful cottage situated in the Georgian quarter of Louth and is a short stroll to the town centre, The cottage has a good size lounge diner which accommodates four persons very comfortably and is all wooden flooring making it very pet friendly, The kitchen is down a step to the rear with an entrance onto the courtyard which has locked access to the street .The bathroom is down another step and is on the ground floor with a bath and shower over ,hand basin and toilet. Stairs off the lounge lead to a king size bedroom with TV and views to the front and a cosy double bedroom with views across a walled garden .
My name is Sandie and I am a retired estate Agent so my love of property and the town of Louth has been with me for years. This is my first venture into running a holiday cottage but has been a dream of mine to do. I have enjoyed dressing our property and hope our guests enjoy the ambiance we have created . A love of good food and cooking makes Louth a good place for all the foodie people .
A short stride from the front door to the left is Westgate Fields and Hubbards Hills, great for dogs and families a beautiful walk along the river Ludd in the glacial valley. To the right of the front door is a nice stroll into the town past St James Church with one of England's tallest spires. In the town you will find a wonderful variety of small shops , good butchers ,fruit and veg, cheese, deli's and bakers. Louth has its own theatre , cinema, golf courses , tennis club and fitness suite. There are is good selection of restaurants and eating out pubs in the area. Cadwell Park race circuit is 15 mins drive , the coast and a visit to see the seals and their pups from October to January at Donna Nook in the winter months is only 20 mins drive away.
