My name is Charlotte and suffice to say I’m a fun loving character! I love meeting people and easily make them laugh! I enjoy cooking ‘and eating’, and have an inherent desire to look after people! My home and garden are my passion and like nothing more than sharing them with guests… ….my other passion is my Dalmatian Edison, who loves visitors as much ‘if not more’ than me! I moved to Danby 4 years ago, and love the beauty and tranquility!
The bustling moorland village of Danby lies in the Esk Valley, below the warm, south-facing slopes of Danby Low Moor. Experience the magic of the North York Moors at Danby Lodge National Park Centre, half a mile from Floyter House. The former hunting lodge is set in an idyllic spot on the banks of the River Esk, and is accessible on foot. Danby was one the home of writer and cleric Canon Atkinson, vicar of Danby church, which lies in a remote and stunning location up the dale. It's great walking country around Danby. There are five circular walks in the booklet 'Walks around The Moors Centre', available from local shops and at Danby Lodge National Park Centre.
