We are a young couple who recently took ownership of The Elim Bank Guest House (formerly Hotel) in May 2018. Elim Bank is a guest house with seven comfortably furnished bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities. We pride ourselves on a friendly atmosphere and being as accommodating as possible.

We are a bed and breakfast with 7 guest rooms in a beautiful 3 floor Victorian era property. We are 10 minutes walk from Lake Windermere! We have free WIFI, free on-site private parking (one space per guest room), all rooms are en-suite and the room rate includes a basic, self-service continental breakfast (no cooked options) in the breakfast room or breakfast to go bags. This includes a selection of cereals, toast, croissants, yogurts, fresh fruit, hot drinks and juices. We do not offer any cooked breakfast options Visitors can sample the unusually varied and magnificent landscapes both in and around Lakeland or the many places of historical or local interest including famous houses, beautiful gardens or sites of antiquity. The Lake District holds a wealth of interest for the tourist whether on foot or with transport. Bikes and Cars can be readily hired and the local bus services are extensive and regular and of course, as Bowness is centered half way along the Lake, you are able to take advantage of the lake ferries which can take you down to Lakeside at the foot of the Lake where you can visit the superb "Aquarium of the Lakes" and take a journey on the Haverthwaite Steam R...

Situated just 10 minutes walk from the shores of Lake Windermere in the bustling town of Bowness you are in easy reach of shops, restaurants and of course the lake itself. Bikes and Cars can be readily hired. As Bowness is centred half way along the Lake, you are able to take advantage of the lake ferries which can take you down to Lakeside at the foot of the Lake where you can visit the superb "Aquarium of the Lakes" and take a journey on the steam railway.
