Welcome to our beautiful villa in Le Ponteil, a small hamlet near Les Deux Alpes. The villa was built in 1875 and was renovated recently. It can accommodate 8 till 10 people and has good amenities such as electric heating, wood burner, wifi, modern kitchen with induction hob, dishwasher, oven, 4 spacious bedrooms and 1 small twinbed on the landing of the second floor. The villa has 2 bathrooms, one with fantastic mountain views from the bath. In addition, the villa has a terrace with BBQ, a balcony and a lovely garden with 2 terraces. It is a place to relax. Villages, shops and supermarkets are nearby. There are plenty of activities to do in both summer and winter. Villa Le Ponteil is a fantastic place for families or groups of up to 10 people. The apaprtment in the basement is also available for a maximum of 4 people. This is an apartment with its own entrance, balcony, large living room/kitchen with wood burning stove, bedroom and bathroom with toilet and shower.
We are a family from Eindhoven (Netherlands) and have this beautiful villa in the French Les Deux Alpes. We love sports and the area is fantastic for that. Ideal for skiing and snowboarding in winter and ideal for cycling, downhill and hiking in summer. However, we also love peace and we always find it at our villa.
Les Deux Alpes is a real winter sports paradise. Due to the altitude, snow is guaranteed and on the glacier (3600 meters altitude) it is even possible to ski or snowboard in the summer. The nearest ski lift with connection to the ski area of ​​Les Deux Alpes is a 4-minute drive away. You can drive to Les Deux Alpes in just 10 minutes. If there is enough snow, you can even ski right down to the villa. In the summer the area is ideal for downhill skiing, mountain biking or racing. The foot of Alpe d'Huez is only 10 km from our villa and well-known cols such as the Galibier and the Croix-de-Fer are nearby. Furthermore, you can enjoy beautiful walks in the area and you can relax. Within a 10-minute drive you are at the lake of Les Deux Alpes with a sandy beach and slide. There are also nice restaurants nearby such as La Molière (beautiful walk from the villa 1.3 km), Le Trappeur (Les Deux Alpes) and Le Cours de la Vie in picturesque Venosc. From this last town you can also go rafting, canyoning and canoeing. The nearest large town for shopping is Grenoble, an hour's drive away.
