Welcome to the Mountain Nest. This little tent is perfect for a romantic weekend getaway in the middle of the forest, with the most beautiful view of Lake Annecy. The tent is set up on our alpine pasture, which is shared with other guests and our four beloved donkeys. It’s the perfect blend of stunning lake and mountain views, surrounded by untouched natural wilderness. Evenings are magical here; gather around a cozy campfire and enjoy a fondue as the sun sets. You'll fall asleep easily to the soothing sounds of owls and crickets. To reach the Nest, you’ll need to walk for about 25 minutes through the forest which is plenty of time to take in your surroundings and hunt for wild strawberries in June or early July. The donkeys are on-site between July and August. This isn’t your typical getaway. Be prepared for a true adventure, one that feels like stepping into another world while still within easy reach of civilization.
