Company information

We have been established since 2021 after 4 years of renovating our property. Before starting our business in Venosc, we had spent 10 years holidaying in Venosc in spring, summer winter and autumn. We know the village and area like it was our own back yard. Our house management team are local residents. Our building renovation project vision was to produce a high quality architectural design witch conserved the villages heritage legacy and provide a modern, environmentally friendly living space. All our construction work, professional services and suppliers have been locally procured. We are all about promoting Venosc an the surrounding areas together with supporting the local economy and community.

Property information

Maison Cluaran is in the centre of Venosc, in the pedestrianized area next to the shops, restaurants and cafes. Our spacious roof terrace has superb uninterrupted views of the Vénéon valley, Cascade de la Muzelle and Isere Hautes Alpes, and can be used as an alfresco eating / social space. There are beautiful views of the village and mountains from all our windows and balconies. There is a large, open plan Living, dining & kitchen area under the massive timber roof trusses. Our kitchen has 2 ovens, a large induction hob, fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher together with ample storage. Our dining area seats up to 10 people. Our living area has a wood burning stove and large sofas for up to 10 people. There are 3 double bedrooms, one bedroom with a bunk bed at ground floor and one sofa bed on the mezzanine level within the roof. Our double bedrooms can convert to single bed, twin rooms. The ground floor bedrooms are elevated above the surrounding roads providing natural privacy.

Neighbourhood information

Maison Cluaran is 2 minutes’ walk from the main car park and 10 minutes’ walk from the télécabine to Les Deux Alpes. Venosc is world renowned for its beauty. It has a lively village social culture together with a tranquil environment generally. Artisan shops, art and sculpture studios, restaurants and cafes surround the chalet giving Venosc its unique charm and atmosphere. Venosc dates from the 16th century, possibly earlier. There is much history to discover together with some amazing local winter and summer walking routes. Venosc is an all-year-round destination for both active / sports holidays and quiet holidaying / ‘workations’. It is directly connected to Les Deux Aples resort and is also ideal to use as a base to access other resorts such as Alpe D’huez, La Grave and Le Bourg d'Oisans. Between seasons, one can live in Venosc with absolute peace can quiet for a creative / healthy retreat or ‘workation’.
