Located between Tours Amboise and Chenonceau, in a site of 36 hectares of park and private forest, this sumptuous private residence of Touraine neo-Gothic style was the residence of General de Gaulles and the theater of a political intrigue that Balzac resumed in his novel « A dark business ". It relates the real fact of the plot organized at the castle by Clement de Ris to overthrow Bonaparte at the time of the battle of Marengo. The history of the castle begins 1490 with a profound architectural change in 1853, and today the Château de Beauvais combines for your greatest pleasure, comfort and authenticity. To fully appreciate this experience, we welcome you for a minimum of 3 days
Bed and Breakfast in the castle: Spacious room, king size bed, mini bar, (refreshment, coffee, tea) hairdryer, television and Wifi. Private bathroom (shower and bath) Private toilet. Breakfast is served in the Gothic-style dining room, where you can enjoy a drink in the small blue lounge. The terraces are at your disposal to relax in the shade of the sequoia more than bicentennial. You can cycle through small country roads. 2 bicycles are at your disposal
