Bike Hike Swim Ski Canoe or Simply Relax . . . Chalet Pitu is positioned right in the centre of the beautiful, traditional and particularly quaint village of Venosc sitting at 1007 metres above sea level. The location is superb offering easy access to restaurants, bars, boutique shops as well as artisan works all within a few minutes walk. If you are keen on fresh, mountain water then you’ll love that the spring fountain is directly in front of the Chalet. The property is a character filled, historical stone, animal barn that has been very recently and carefully restored to a high standard. We offer luxury accommodation with a lovely combination of traditional, Chalet features and chic touches for 4 adults. We also offer the Chalet Studio which accommodates 2 people. This can be booked separately or together with Chalet Pitu for a maximum of 6 guests. The gondola is a 6 minute stroll from the Chalet and will take you directly to Les Deux Alpes in 6.5 minutes What is also very helpful is that you can store all your ski gear at the top of the mountain for your entire stay, leaving you free to leisurely enjoy yourselves.
Jodie is a Consumer Psychologist and also has over 25 years of working within the hospitality industry in various roles as well as consulting to global brands such as the Hilton, Sheraton, Intercontinental Hotel Group and the Accor Group. She was a Senior Lecturer in Hospitality Management for 10 years at Sydney's (Australia) premier college: Macleay College. She has a great passion for creating unique and memorable guest experiences and realises that the excitement of a holiday is fabulous, but also knows that 'creature comforts' really do add to the pleasure and enjoyment for guests. She's a very keen traveller and welcomes all! Jodie is classified as a 'Super Host' and has properties in the UK and the French Alpes.
A superb location. Venosc is a small, traditional village that offers a great haven from the hustle and bustle of a ski resort. Having said that, if you feel like a bit of bar hopping and nightlife, you can catch the private gondola from the village straight to Les Deux Alpes in 6.5 minutes. Everything in Venosc is accessible by foot and you can even make your way to Les Deux Alpes via the gondola.
