This family-run, 4-star hotel is ideally located by the Allgau Alps. It features an indoor pool, sauna. Landhotel Gockelwirt offers rooms with a flat-screen TV, minibar and private bathroom. Some rooms also offer a balcony or patio with views of the surrounding mountains. Homemade, regional specialities are served in the hotel’s restaurant. The hotel also features its own Bavarian-style beer garden. The castle ruins of Freyberg and Eisenberg are located nearby. Further day trip destinations include the pilgrimage church of Maria-Hilf and lake Hopfensee with its beautiful promenade. Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castles are also within driving distance. Free private parking is available at the hotel.
