Set at an altitude of 1,000 metres in the scenic Bavarian Alps, this hostel in Mittenwald offers great views of the Zugspitze and Karwendel mountains. Wi-Fi is free in all public areas. The bright rooms and dormitories at Jugendherberge Mittenwald are simply furnished and feature lockers and wooden floors. All rooms offer shared bathroom facilities in the hallway. A buffet breakfast is provided each morning in the large dining room. Lunch is available on request, and warm buffet is served in the evenings. Guests can make use of 2 table tennis tables, board games and a large sauna area. Outdoor facilities include a climbing wall, rope garden and a large playground with volleyball court. International guests without membership pay a surcharge of EUR 3.50 per night. German residents aged 26 or younger can become a member of the German Youth Hostel Association for EUR 7 per year, older guests and families pay EUR 22,50 per year.
