Set in a large ship on the Elbe River, Schiffsherberge Pöppelmann offers unique accommodation with a terrace. It is docked between Dresden's Old Town and New Town districts. There are 7 shared bathrooms with showers, all segregrated by sex, with one on every deck. Breakfast is available on the ship, and drinks can be purchased at reception during opening hours. WiFi is provided free of charge in the lobby area and the breakfast room. The reception offers bicycle hire, hairdryers, toiletries, as well as tickets for public transport and other attractions. Free maps are also provided. The exhibition grounds can be reached in 10 minutes by car, or 20 minutes by public transport. Dresden Main Train station is also 4 km away.
