Our two-storey family villa from the 1960s has brought so much joy to many generations, the 6,000 square metres of surrounding land will guarantee our guests the same peace and quiet. The large private garden is a fantastic experience in all seasons. From the terrace of the house the view extends from the hills of Malcantone to Lake Maggiore to the Alpine arc with Monte Rosa and Pointe Dufour, which at 4,634 m is the highest peak in Switzerland. It is possible to accommodate up to 8 people in the 4 bedrooms on two floors, the house is ideal for very large families, for two families or for groups of friends. (Ref. 4235)
Livia worked as a private aviation handling agent for 14 years, before that she used to be a flight attendant. Claudio also used to be in the aviation business as an air traffic controller, job from which he's now retired. We have two sons, 20 and 22 years old. We speak five languages fluently (English, Italian, French, German and Spanish) and we enjoy travelling together, with friends and with our children whenever we can. We often stay at friends houses, B&Bs, or small hotels. In return our house is always open to friends, or friends of friends. We like simple things, don't plan to much ahead, and live the moment. During her free time Livia likes to do all kinds of crafts, glass painting, crocheting and a lot of different things. Claudio loves paragliding and many other outdoor activities and during the winter is active as a ski instructor. We love the changing seasons, the colours, flowers, heat, snow, all of it, again and again :)
Novaggio is a charming village of 700 inhabitants at 650 meters above sea level. Some restaurants with pizzeria, post office, local shop, bakery, a delicious ice cream shop, pharmacy, doctor, soccer field, inline hockey field. In just ten minutes by car you can reach Caslano, where all the major Swiss supermarkets are located. Novaggio is the perfect starting point for excursions, from easy family trails to challenging hikes, mountain biking or - why not - a paragliding flight? The Monte Lema - not to be missed! - can be reached in just 10 minutes by cable car from the nearby village of Miglieglia. Lugano can be reached quickly by car (25 minutes) or more comfortably by public transport (45 minutes). The many small beaches of Lake Lugano invite you to spend an afternoon in the sun.
