Just renovated - new kitchen and floor! Bright and spacious two-bedroom apartment (3.5 rooms): living/dining room with 2 double sofabeds, with door to large west-facing balcony. Master bedroom with large queen bed (160x200 cm) with door to south-facing balcony; another bedroom with 1 double bed (140x200 cm). Open kitchen, newly renovated, with all new appliances: four-burner stove, oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer. Small appliances include microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster, fondue pot, raclette machine; also, iron and hair dryer. One full bathroom with bathtub, separate guest toilet and sink. Both balconies have spectacular view of mountains. Balcony furniture. Facilities: free Internet; Kettler exercise machine. Laundry room (washing machine and dryer) and storage room (for skis, boots, and other sports equipment) in the basement. No TV. Please note: STRICT NO-SMOKING POLICY; no pets (owners have allergies). Please keep all ski and other sports equipment in ski storage room, NOT in apartment.
We love Leukerbad and have been going there for the past 12 years. We especially enjoy the baths all year round!
Leukerbad is the largest thermal spa resort in the Alps, with 3.9 million litres (over 1 million gallons) of bubbling natural thermal waters of up to 51C (122F) filling the resort’s pools daily. Leukerbad is a year-round vacation destination: in winter there is skiing (53 km of ski slopes, from an altitude of 2,610 metres (8,615 feet) down to Leukerbad town center at 1,411 metres), winter hiking, sledding, snowshoeing, and paragliding. In the summer, there are over 200 km of hiking trails, mountain biking, mountain climbing (via ferrata). Condo is located within walking distance to thermal baths, neighborhood bakery/café, cable car up the Gemmi (2,400 metres), and many shops and restaurants. Hiking trails leave almost from front door! Local bus “Ringjet” stop just across the street from parking garage. All guests will receive a Leukerbad Guest Card, which gives the bearer discounts to thermal baths, ski lifts, and many stores and restaurants.
