Rainwater for flushing toilets, waste heat for heating, as well as solar power and LED lighting are all part of our 2000-watt concept. Part of the innovative Hunziker area, you'll enjoy not only sustainable architecture, but also cafés, restaurants, and meeting places right on your doorstep. Fair prices, sustainable comfort, and direct access to public transport and bike paths – welcome to Guesthouse Hunziker! Opened in May 2015, this guesthouse welcomes you to the northern part of Zurich, just a 5-minute walk from the exhibition center and the Hallenstadion. Each room at Guesthouse Hunziker features free Wi-Fi, hardwood floors, and a private bathroom. From Monday to Friday, breakfast is served in the Riedbach Restaurant on the ground floor. On weekends, breakfast is served in the Bagel Boys Restaurant next door. Rainwater is collected and used to flush the toilets. Heat pumps utilize waste heat from a nearby data center for heating and hot water. Solar panels on the roof cover approximately 40% of the guesthouse's electricity consumption. Energy-efficient LED lighting is also used.
