The cosily furnished 3-room holiday flat (built in 2018) at the entrance to Kandersteg is located on the 1st floor of a chalet-style apartment building in a south-facing position with a view of the surrounding mountains. In addition to a spacious entrance, the flat has a living/dining room with large panoramic windows and access to the furnished south-facing balcony. The open kitchen with oven, ceramic hob, steamer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine invites you to cook together. The flat also has two bedrooms (one bedroom with a double bed and a view of the forest, and one bedroom with a double bed and a view of the village and the surrounding mountains, as well as access to the balcony) and a ground-level shower room. The holiday flat comes with a car parking space that can be used free of charge. There is also a shared ski and bike room. Washing machine and dryer can also be used free of charge on request. The flat is accessible via a lift. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the flat. The flat has been certified with 4 stars by Switzerland Tourism.
Kandersteg is located at the end of the Kander Valley in the midst of the fantastic mountain world of the extended UNESCO World Heritage Region Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch. The family-friendly village with its numerous wooden chalets and art nouveau buildings combines originality and gentle tourism. Wonderful hiking trails (including to Lake Oeschinen and along the Kander) as well as cross-country skiing trails start within a short walking distance from the holiday flat. A bus stop is located about 200 m away. The Kandersteg guest card includes free public transport journeys during your stay within the Mülenen-Kiental area as far as Frutigen, via Kandersteg to Adelboden. There are also numerous other discounts and free offers.
