3100 Kulmhotel, located in Gornergrat, is the highest hotel in the Swiss Alps and the mountain base camp of a high mountain range. It offers elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi. All of the rooms feature a cable TV with international channels, a work desk and a hair dryer and offer mountain views. The restaurant saycheese! Gornergrat serves world-famous classic Swiss dishes with local cheeses, while the Glacier Alpine Kitchen serves our guests classic Swiss cuisine. Gornergrat offers a variety of snow sports including skiing with ski-to-door access, snow boarding and hiking. The hotel also offers a packed lunch service for all guests. This secluded hotel features its own planetarium, a library and a shopping centre and offers stunning views of 29 four-thousend-metre peaks of the Alps. The viewing platform of Gornergrat and the areas around the hotel are only reachable by a regular train service, which takes 40 minutes’ through scenic countryside, from car-free Zermatt.

Zermatt es una localidad cerrada al tráfico. Los huéspedes deberán conducir hasta Täsch y luego llegar a Zermatt en tren. La estación del tren de montaña de Gornergrat se encuentra justo al lado de la estación de tren.
El hotel solo es accesible en tren. El último tren sale de Zermatt a las 18:00 (hay un tren que sale más tarde en temporada alta, consulte los horarios).
