Stop for a coffee, have a go on the many free gyms dotted along the track, or just sit and soak it all in. Anytime of the day is magnificent. Bribie Island offers many boutique style cafes nearby. On both Welsby Parade and in Woorim on the Surf Side. The Sandstone Point Hotel is only a 5-minute drive and is a quality venue to enjoy a quiet dinner and enjoy the scenic views across Pumicestone Passage. Bribie Island is 30 minutes from Australia Zoo, 45 minutes from Mooloolaba, the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane Airport and only 55 minutes to Brisbane City. If the family wants a trip to the theme parks, the Gold Coast is only 90 minutes’ drive. A lot of cafes and takeaways are located on Toorbul Street/Welsby Parade, a short stroll will take you to the main street where you will also find Markets most Sunday mornings. A car is recommended as most shopping centers are located at least a few kilometers away. Taxi's are readily available around Bribie Island.
