The Potters Garden B&B is situated in Rye on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. We are 1.8 kms from the Rye Ocean Beach and 2.4 kms from Rye Beach Town. Overlooking 100 acres of neighbouring farmland with views to Arthurs Seat enhances your peaceful stay. On crisp still nights the sound of crashing waves can be heard.
THE GARDEN SUITE: This is our larger accommodation with a queen size bed in the main bedroom and a tv/lounge room in the adjoining room. There is an outside kitchen on the deck with a baby weber, sink with hot and cold water for washing up. A hamper is supplied for guests to cook their own breakfasts at their own leisure. There is a DTV in the bedroom and lounge. Electric jug, tea/coffee, toaster and microwave supplied. There is a large bathroom, separate toilet and a walk in shower. Split system in the bedroom. Free wifi.
THE POTTERS CABIN: A smaller accommodation suitable for 1or 2 people. We call it our rustic, cosy cabin and is always very popular. It is 1 room with a queen size bed, kitchenette, ensuite, DTV and split system. Separate from the main house with rural views. Unique. The bathroom operates off a pump which does make a slight short noise but everyone seems ok with it. A breakfast hamper is supplied with eggs, bacon, tomatoes and bread for toast. Guests cook their own breakfasts at their own leisure. Free Wifi.
An acre of gardens surrounds The Potters Garden B&B which makes you feel quite relaxed on arrival. Views of the gardens can be seen from both accommodations. There is a small gallery adjoining the studio with handmade pottery created by your host. Guests can pay for a wheel thrown pottery lesson if the urge takes them.
The view is quite stunning, with neighboring cows grazing close to the boundary. On still nights the sound of crashing waves from the nearby back beach can be heard.
Close by main attractions are: Our beautiful beaches, The Peninsula Hot Springs 3 kms away, local cafes and restaurants, golf courses, walking trails, boutique breweries, horse riding or swimming with the dolphins.
The ridge around Red Hill area is dotted with a variety of wineries where you can taste test and experience culinary sensations.
If all of the above sounds too much you could just simply relax and enjoy our magnificent sunset at the Rye Ocean Beach.
