Experience a luxury stay at SABLE MAE. Featuring unique industrial styling with an Australiana twist! A stylish & peaceful retreat located in the semi-rural enclave of Medlow Bath, home of the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park. Just 90 minutes drive from Sydney, Medlow Bath is home of the famed Hydro Majestic Hotel, SABLE MAE sits halfway between the tourist towns of Katoomba & Blackheath. The property is easily accessed by train from Sydney's Central station. It is a flat 10 minute walk from Medlow Bath train station to Sable Mae. With three stylish Queen bedrooms and two bathrooms (Master with ensuite), Sable Mae is perfect for families or groups of up to 8 guests. *There is the option of a double SOFA BED in our garden studio, this can be made up ON REQUEST (an extra nightly fee applies). Please request this in your booking, prior to arrival! **We accept pets ON REQUEST. Please add your pet's details into your booking request. We require guests bringing a pet to agree to our PET POLICY prior to check-in.
We are passionate about design & love sharing Sable Mae with guests from all over the world. We're hooked on planning our next travel adventure, especially if it involves skiing & hiking! Grabbing a coffee & going for a walk in the mornings is our perfect way to start the day!
Medlow Bath is a peaceful area made famous by the historic Hydro Majestic hotel which sits on the main highway between Katoomba & Blackheath. Medlow Bath has it's own train station which is a 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive from SABLE MAE. Even though we are just 90 minutes drive from Sydney, you will feel like you are a world away from the hustle & bustle of the city. There are many fabulous restaurants & cafes within 10 minutes drive from the property. Driving is the quickest way to get to SABLE MAE but if you prefer to arrive by train it is around 2 hours from Sydney's Central station, then a short 10 minute walk to the property. Once here you will need a car or to catch the train to Katoomba, Leura or Blackheath for supplies or to visit cafes & restaurants. There is also the option to visit 'Pot Belly' cafe across from the train station at Medlow Bath. We have off street parking for 3 cars or plenty of street parking is available.
