Karumba Point Sunset Caravan Park is located on the waters of the Gulf of Carpentaria and the mouth of the Norman River. We are located right next to the boat ramp and close to the Sunset Tavern, Ash's Fish & Chips and Seabreeze General Store. As in the name of our park, we are spoilt with beautiful sunsets that set over the sea with deep orange and red colours over the blue sea water.
We offer Villa and Cabin accommodation with heaps of parking space for your car and boat along with a fish cleaning facility to fillet your big catch of the day. Our professional friendly staff can assist you with various tour bookings on Kerry D Fishing Charters, Croc and Crab Boat Tours as well as the Ferryman Sunset and Bird Watching Boat Tours. Our shop has Gifts, Souveneirs, Clothing, Drinks, Ice Creams, Ice and Bait.
Our park has a tropical feel with Coconut Palms throughout along with beautiful gardens with different varieties of plants including Desert Roses.
Through our peak season (March to September) we offer activities such as Meal Nights, Bingo and Craft afternoons, Free Sausage Sizzles along with entertainment.
Stay with us and you'll see why Karumba is such an amazing place to be.

We have likened Karumba to a Crab Pot. Once you get in you will find it very hard to leave. If you are a boating and fishing enthusiast we have everything here that you will ever want or need. The fishing is fantastic and this is the best place to catch a Barramundi along with other species such as King Salmon, Grunter and Jewel fish just to name a few.
There are tours and charters that you can take such as Kerry D Fishing, Croc and Crab and the Ferryman as well as the Barramundi Discovery Centre to visit.
We are very close to the Sunset Tavern which is a great place to go for a drink and a meal. Karumba is a small town on the Gulf of Carpentaria that is a great place to visit. Friendly and beautiful.
