A hidden gem on beautiful Lake Macquarie! The house is a clean, modern and relaxing spacious waterfront house on the NSW Central Coast. . It’s only a 90 minute drive from Sydney. This is an amazing place for boating, fishing or having a BBQ and drink on the deck while enjoying north facing lake views. We are well stocked with quality environmentally friendly products and inclusions such as organic linens, organic towels, organic tea, natural toiletries, the rooftop solar system powers your electrical needs during the day. Other Features: Ducted air-conditioning, two BBQ: a gas BBQ and a coal BBQ, a gym exercise bicycle, a elliptical cross trainer, a treadmill, a foam surfboard, full laundry facilities, fire pit, kids’ bicycle, toys, Air Hockey table, kids size ping pong table, High chairs, Baby travelling cot, free WIFI, two adult fishing Kayaks and two kids kayaks, two fishing rods, Iron and board, vacuum cleaner, security camera outside, additional outside deck with table and 6 chairs in the backyard only 30m to the water Dog stay must send a request before booking. Generally we only allow one well behaved dog but no cat to stay. Prior to your booking you must email the breed, age, and number of dogs for us to consider. Please note there is an additional charge and any damage caused is the dog owners’ responsibility.
John and Helen welcome you to stay in our holiday lake house. During your stay, guests have complete privacy. We can be contacted for assistance with any aspect of your visit. The living room, dinning room, kitchen, one bathroom and two of the bedrooms in this holiday house have a water views. There is a large backyard with fire pit and the outside table with six chair to sit outside with fantastic water views to enjoy the native birds, spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Plenty of grass area for backyard cricket. Please be aware that the double sofa bed will only be made up for bookings of more than 7 people. Other Things to Know • Strictly no parties • The backyard is fenced, however please watch your children for their safety. • Upstairs and downstairs linen cupboards is locked not access by visitors. • Only left side of garage can use not right side. SMOKING Smoking anywhere on the property is not permitted. An additional cleaning cost will be charged to guests who do so.
Surrounding: • There is a bottle shop, a cafe, a fish shop and other local shops on the same street only a two minute walk away. • Public Boat ramp and jetty approx. 250m away from the house. • Kids play grounds approx. 300m away from the house. • Local shopping centre including Woolworths, pharmacy, restaurants and more is just 1.5km away. • Lake Munmorah State Recreation Park with excellent walking trails and beaches is only a 7 minutes’ drive • The famous Catherine Hill Bay surf beach and The Pink Caves is only 10 minutes away. • The Ghosties and Moonee Beach is only 12 minutes away • For a further adventure the Watagan Mountains for hiking and 4WD is only 50 minutes away. Things to do: Fishing - Lake Macquarie is a recreational fishing haven and is one of the largest coastal saltwater lakes in Australia. There is a wide range of fish including tailor, bream, whiting, flathead, etc. Boating - enjoy all the water sports from your backyard and not have to worry about loading the car and driving to get access.
