Welcome to the Freeman Retreat! Wake up to the sound of the ocean in this newly furnished townhouse. The hill top spot means there are breathtaking sea views from every room. Curl up with a book in the swinging chair, watch the sun rise over the ocean from your bed, or just enjoy the views. It’s a peaceful spot, but you’re only a few hundred metres from the beach and Yeppoon’s growing collection of independent shops and cafes. Entry is by self check-in with a smart lock so feel free to check in anytime after 2pm. You will have the entire home all to yourself.
We have been both hosts and guests and love the experiences of meeting people from across the world and visiting some amazing places. Yeppoon is an absolute stand out and we have fallen absolutely in love with it If you need anything at all during your stay please don’t hesitate to message us.
Yeppoon is such a wonderful seaside town, we’re sure you’ll love it! There are lots of independent cafes and shops, great brunch spots, and amazing swimming and walking locations. Depending on how long you’re staying there are some lovely places to explore in Byfield National Park and in Rockhampton too. If there’s anything you’re looking for specifically feel free to message us and we’ll happily share our local knowledge. The walk to the beach, cafes, and shops is short, but there’s a decent hill on the way back up. If you’d rather drive there’s plenty of free parking along the sea front, a large multi story car park in the centre, or paid parking near the lagoon. There is also a little track that takes you from the unit to Farnborough Beach. Walk to the end of Bartlem St towards Golding St, turn right onto Golding St, and then left onto Keppel Terrace. At the end of Keppel Terrace, opposite number 16, you’ll see a track on the right. Walk down and you’ll come out on Farnborough Road, right opposite the beach.
