Just a really nice place and nice people. If you're after an excluded, silent, faceless hotel, this isn't it. This feels much more like a traditional Bed and Breakfast, in someone's house. The people couldn't have been nicer - super welcoming....

My place is a three bedroom guesthouse, with comfortable, quiet, private rooms and shared kitchen, lounge and bathrooms. It is a home stay. We live on the premises, so it is essentially an old-fashioned bed and breakfast. Close to Torquay town centre, surf beaches, you’ll love my place because of It's a quiet, relaxed spacious beach house, newly build and very comfortable. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. It is set up like a three bedroom guest house, with comfortable, quiet, private rooms and shared kitchen, lounge and bathrooms. The space A large room with plenty of wardrobe space (built in). There's a comfy queen-sized bed. Full access to all the great amenities of the house. No food to be prepared OR consumed in the bedroom please! Guest access Shared areas include a lounge room with a gas log fire and wide screen TV, and a large galley kitchen and adjoining dining area. A large, new bathroom with bath and shower, for the exclusive use of guests, is located opposite the main guest room. There is also a large outdoor patio, BBQ area for shared usage.
Hi I'm Stu; a 65 year old father of three grown up boys. I have lived in Torquay for 30 years and recently finished building this house, with the idea to rent three rooms on Airbnb. There's nothing I like better than going surfing with my boys at our favourite breaks along the Surf Coast, and meeting new people with interesting stories of travel and life. I also enjoy gardening, the odd hit of golf; cooking, reading and movies. I work part-time driving the airport shuttle between Geelong and Melbourne Airport. In my spare time I write fiction. I Stay at our place if you like a relaxed beach holiday atmosphere. Your accommodation is modern, clean, comfortable and private, with plenty of freedom to choose how you will enjoy your stay. You might end up joining us for a family dinner or BBQ, or maybe enjoy a night out at one of the many cafes and restaurants along the foreshore. Because I work nights, you might even have the whole place to yourselves, to treat as your own for the night. The most important thing is - enjoy your stay.
World-famous Bell's Beach is just 15 minutes away. Visit this iconic natural amphitheatre, home of the Bells Easter Classic surfing competition. Watch local surfers shredding the big gnarly waves. Point Addis Beach Lookout Just five minutes down the Anglesea Road, from Bells Beach, picturesque Point Addis - do the Koori Cultural walk, with magnificent views from the high cliff. Or go for a wild untouched beach walk (Park at the main car park on the end of the point and go down to the beach on the right - walk the pristine beach all the way up to Crayfish Point (45 min return) Anglesea Beach Just 20 minutes down the coast - Anglesea is one of the most picturesque towns on the Great Ocean Road. Edit Great Ocean Road Do a day trip all the way down the world-famous Great Ocean Road (which starts right here in Torquay).... all the way to the Twelve Apostles. Lorne Stop at Lorne Point for fish and chips under the gum trees over-looking Lorne Point and watch the surfers. (35 min south along the picturesque Great Ocean Road) Great Otway National Park Visit the Otway Rain Forest - do the Otway Fly Tree-top walk; visit the Redwood Forest; do the rainforest walk at Maits Rest.
