The Sonnblickhof is available in winter and summer for unforgettable vacation experiences. Here you can reax and enjoy the nature, recharge your batteries and explore a wide variety of water sources and huts. Rauris is also called the secret jewel of the National Park Hohe Tauern in Salzburg. Enjoy wonderful and unforgettable holidays in this relaxed atmosphere. You shall feel comfortable, welcome and at home. That is our motivation. Let the soul dangle and expeience the scenic beauty of Rauris. "Recharge your batteries and feel good all araund" Relax with all your senses. That is our motto! In addition to beautiful furnished comfort rooms, all equipped with shower/toilet, hairdryer, cable-TV, free wireless we also offer an apartment for romantic hours for two. You start your day with a rich breakfast buffet including a health corner. We offer half-board in winter. The sunny and quiet location just outside of Rauris, in the district of Wörth, offers plenty of opportunities for relaxation and recreation. Let the day come to an end in our homely cellar bar. After strenuous hiking or skiing days you can relax in our spar with sauna, steam-bath, solarium and Kneipp-basin. And all who had not enough movement our gym is for work-out available. A heated skiboot and drying-room is availale in winter and summer at any time.
Summer in the golden valley of the alps in Rauris The hiking paradise in the National Park, explore the manificent mountain scenery Wether hiking, walking climing or cycling. Explore the nature and feel free. Simply be human! About 295km marked hiking trails in the rauris valley show you the way to the 40 mountain huts, where you can enjoy delicious food and drinks. Many destinations and our five side valleys like Seidlwinkl valley, Hüttwinkl valley, Gaisbach valley, Forsterbach valley and Krumml valley (also called vulture valley) invite you for a visit. There is also an interesting museum about birds of prey just 10 minutes by feet, called "kings of the air". High alpine tours, a climb up to the "Hohe Sonnblick"with the highest weather station in Europe on top. The mass of possibilities is endless and range from headwaters, jungle breathtaking views a top the mountains, goldpannig with Theo, to bread baking with Roswitha at there hut. Hiking in Kolm-Saigurn, the end of the Hüttwinkl valley, on trail of the mines with a gold and a glacier trail is an experiece of a special kind.
