Kinder- & Gletscherhotel Hintertuxerhof is a 4-star superior hotel located only 150 metres away from the cable car for the Hintertux Glacier. Each room has a balcony with panoramic views of the glacier. Parking is available free of charge. The spa area includes a sauna, a steam bath, an infrared cabin, a fitness room, and a relaxation room. Massages are also available. Rooms at the Hintertuxerhof are equipped with satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, a safe, and bathrobes. The restaurant serves Tyrolean and international cuisine, regional specialities such as game and fondue, and homemade pastries. Half-board includes a large breakfast buffet and dinner with a salad buffet. For children, the Hintertuxerhof features a large playground and an indoor playroom. Children have free access to the nearby Playarena Tux, which is a 10 minutes` drive away. It offers a big play zone and many activities. There is a daily free shuttle service, offered by the property, to get to the Playarena Tux and back. Free child care is available daily from 9:00 until 21:00 In summer guests get free access to a public outdoor pool area which is a 20 minutes`s drive away. Guests of Kinder- & Gletscherhotel Hintertuxerhof can book free daily summer hiking tours with a guide. Those tours are offered Monday to Friday.
