It is home to the Pongau Local Heritage Museum, a seminar and cultural center, with the heart of it being the Cultural Association SCHLOSS GOLDEGG, founded in 1982, which hosts the Goldegg Dialogues. Additionally, there is a painting academy and a café located here.
