The mixed dormitories are carefully decorated according to traditional local crafts and furnished with bunk beds. They offer access to shared bathroom facilities. Guests that wish to have more privacy may stay in double or twin rooms. We had a private room with shared bath. It was super clean and very comfortable. We did not have a problem with noise at all. Towels and linens included in our stay. We enjoyed visiting the nearby museum and garden (Musea da Quinta das Cruzes) which is just a short walk away. This hostel was a great value.

In order to have twin beds we chose to forego a private bathroom, but the communal facilities were so great it was not an inconvenience. Plenty powerful hot showers. The location is perfect with many attractions within walking distance.

The view of the ocean was nice and our room faced to east so we could see the sunrise from our window. Also the location was perfect for us. It is far from the center but close to the beach and one of the best restaurants. Oh and the best part that they got two hammocks!! You must try them out!
