Alexandra and her family is there for you to reply all your questions and needs. The small refreshment she left in the fridge and fruit saved our last breakfast.

The host Stefan is extremely lovely. I was given a quick tour of the hostel and was free to choose whichever bunk bed I wanted. The beds are amazing: outlet, personal light, curtains that let no light in, space to put your things, very comfortable mattress, large lockers. The breakfast was also lovely. Stefan will make you his signature pancakes (also vegan and gluten free if you want). There is also yoghurt, bread, different jams, fruit and cereal. Speaking of food: make sure you participate in the "family dinners". The home-cooked meals (form starters to soup, main, and desert) are amazing. Stefan not only cooks better than most restaurants I have been to on the azores, but you'll also be fed until you explode and that for a very fair price. Finally, I loved the co-working space with nice chairs, privacy and fast WIFI.

Cool old house with a lovely garden, outdoor seating, living room / lounge and kitchen. Sparkling clean, excellent location near the port and its taxi stand, restaurants. Not too far from one of the wine walks. Taxi from airport is 15 euros. Excellent communication from the management (all remote). Highly recommend!

Ubytovanie Engenho Hostel sa nachádza v destinácii Lajes do Pico a ponúka bezplatné Wi-Fi. Very nice location, one of the best in Pico, in my opinion. Restaurants, shops, supermarkets. Plenty of parking spaces and a nice view over the ocean :) The house is very clean and equipped with the basics one might need. The communication was very good, at all times there was a phone number available. And the bonus: books! Books everywhere!! Loved this place so much!

Ubytovanie bolo priíjemné, lokalita a umiestnenie veľmi dobre premyslené. S personálom nebol žiadny problém, potrebovali sme deku navyše, nebol s tym žiadny problém. Taktiež žiadny problém s neskorým príchodom na ubytovanie. V danej cene boli raňajky veľké plus.

This Azorean guest house is a 15-minute walk from the sea and features comfortable accommodation overlooking Faial and the Pico Mountain, the highest point in Portugal. Nice, calme place, very strong breakfast!
