The staffs were very helpful and friendly (Prakash and his younger brother). Everything was nice. Location is really good, near enough to go to the Thamel hub by walk, far enough to not be affected by the noise. The rooftop was really good too!

One of my favorites of hostels I’ve stayed in. I feel so comfortable and at home in this place. And will be coming back when I’m next in Kathmandu. Their facilities were beyond what I expected: a hot shower with GREAT pressure, clean toilets, super comfortable and warm beds, great WiFi service, super friendly and helpful staff, amazing food at the restaurant downstairs, and a generally homely and safe place in a great location within Thamel.

The staff were extremely helpful when I arrived from the airport I didn’t have any Nepali currency and I had to pay my taxi driver at the reception there was this wonderful sweet girl called Asha she just gave me the Nepali currency and said I can later change and give it back. The guy at the reception was also nice because after changing the money when I got back to the hotel Asha already let and it was Shankar he was very helpful too because my room was up on 6th floor and he helped me to carry my heavy luggage all the way up. The location is excellent as you are close to everything

Kwabahal Boutique Hostel está en Katmandú, a 13 min a pie de Hanuman Dhoka, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. Kwabahal Boutique Hostel was my preferred accomodation in Kathmandu. Simply because the location was perfect. It is tucked-in in an alley and it has a nice garden/cafe to relax in. The street sound is muted so one can enjoy the serenity of the place. Secondly, all the staff display such heartwarming hospitality with endless smiles. A huge plus for me was also the clean and spotless showers and toilets, the cleanest by far during my visit in Nepal.

Monkey Bunky-3Monkeys Backpacker's Hostel está en Katmandú, a 13 min a pie de Swayambhunath, y dispone de alojamiento con bicicletas gratis, parking privado gratis, jardín y salón de uso común. The whole vibe was on point. The staff were friendly, the restaurant was good value and tasty and the travellers were also polite, friendly and fun.

Nextdoor Patan dispone de jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y restaurante en Pātan. El alojamiento cuenta con bar y se encuentra a 2,4 km de Plaza Durbar de Katmandú. It’s clean, well located, the common spaces are facilitate socialization, the rooms and bathrooms are impeccable, the bunkbeds are well thought out; lots of storage with personal light, the mattress in comfortable, the staff is super friendly, the breakfast in generous and cooked on the spot.

Birds Nest Hostel se encuentra en Katmandú, a 2 km de Swayambhunath, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y bar. Very nice stay at Birds Nest Hostel! Dorms are clean and staff was super welcoming and nice! (Big thank you to Sunny for all the advices and kindness, and thank you to our super chef for the goooood food, its a must try!) 100% recommended place to stay 😊

Best Hostel se encuentra en Katmandú, a 3,7 km de Hanuman Dhoka, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. The stay was very pleasant. The owner Sunny ji made sure everything was alright and contacted me even prior to my arrival. The room and bathroom were clean and peaceful and the breakfast was tasty. After getting stuck in the floods, Sunny ji let me cancel the stay free of charge, for which I am also very grateful. I recommend this place to everyone!

Hostel Swastik se encuentra en Bhaktapur, a 10 min a pie de Plaza Durbar - Bhaktapur y a 12 km de Plaza Durbar de Katmandú. El alojamiento tiene un bar y un restaurante que sirve cocina nepalí. The location was great, it was very easy to get around everywhere, the food was great, and the rooms felt clean and comfortable! The best part is honestly the people working here. They have become like family to me <3 I was staying here for almost a month and a half in spring of 2024 but I wouldn't have stayed as long as I did had I not bonded as hard as I did with Bishwo and Lena especially. We would eat together often, go out together, spend many late nights talking or jamming together or with other hostel guests and friends from the area, we made so much fun together! We'd spent the Newari new year together (Biska Jatra) and even took little day trips to Nagarkot for hiking and swimming. Staying here was a very special experience for me as I am sure it was for many other guests who have had the pleasure of getting to know the Swastik Hostel crew <3 I cannot wait to come back and see everyone. So much love to you Hostel Swastik, I miss you so much, and thank you for that time.
