From our room, we had a great view of the accommodation's garden, which was very beautiful. The room itself is also decorated in beautiful colors that match the garden. In addition to the material things, the hosts Jeewani and Ayeshika were also great. We had great conversations and thanks to their warm nature, we were able to relax well.

Staying with Bunty's family was like being with my own. He was super responsive from the very beginning and came to pick me up to the station upon arrival. I took the apartment as I was going to be working for quite a few hours a day and I wanted space, a desk and good connection (and great view) and it was a great choice. The room is spacious, full of light (no curtains to the exterior) and a little terrace ideal to have a tea and enjoy sunrise or sunset. The house itself is beautiful and has a garden outside if you also want to have a tea or your b'fast. I got different b'fast every day (my favourite was the "pitu" with curry) and they adapted to my hours, as every day was slightly changing. The family lives in the house and they are very discreet and lovely. Anusha helped me also with the understanding of the SriLankan cuisine and made incredible dishes. We also had fabulous chats and she taught me how to do some recipes. I extended my stay because I really loved it and could have been there for a long time. Bunty also helped with an issue with the router and, while being fixed, he lent me some data from a hotspot. it's all about finding solutions and helping constantly! He even dropped me off at the station at 4.45 am the day I left!! That's kindness!! Hospitality out of the ordinary and a fabulous place to stay! Thanks for treating me like familiy!!

He taught us lots about Sri Lanka. He went out of his way to ensure we were well looked after. He helped us get tickets on the Ella train. The breakfast was DELICIOUS!

Parece mentira lo que pagamos por nuestra habitación. Desde el primer momento Jude se encargó de que tuviéramos una estancia increíble. Facilita mucho la comunicación y cualquier inconveniente que tengas te lo resuelve. El alojamiento ha sido creo que el mejor que hemos probado en Sri Lanka, una pena habernos quedado solo una noche :( La cama muy cómoda, tanto las zonas comunes como la habitación de lo más limpio, no vimos ningún insecto… en cuanto a relación calidad-precio va sobrado!

Kurumbunkz está en Kandy, a 10 min a pie de Museo Kandy, y dispone de alojamiento con terraza, parking privado gratis, restaurante y bar. I liked that the room was clean! The bedding was clean! The bathroom was clean and had warm water! There was a fan and an AC! The staff were very nice and accommodating. My partner and I got given fresh juice on arrival. The location was also decent, we were a quick walk away from the tooth temple and lake, also near a great dosa and curry place! We could also easily get a Tuktuk when we felt it was a bit too hot in Kandy to walk.
