A perfect, calm getaway from the city with still plenty of things to do. Great restaurants, thrifting, karaoke, parks, and Japanese vibes. Also Nakano is a 20 min walk away and they have a mall with Uniqlo and everything else you’d need. It’s easy to meet other people and make friends! Women-only was awesome and made me feel really safe. I can’t wait to go back and spend my entire Japan trip here. I shouldn’t have bothered with any other hotels. Nothing compares to Grapehouse Koenji!

The atmosphere feels just like home, and you realize it within a few hours—there’s always someone around, and there’s always a chance to make great friendships, like I did with Erkin, Jimmy, and Macy! I’ll miss them all and hope to see them again one day! All of this was thanks to Tora Hotel! I can’t wait to come back!
