I could watch the beautiful sun rise and see the beauty of the sacred mountain. The view on the roof is so wonderful. I could do my morning walking and sitting meditation in peace and quiet. The owners took us on a sunset hike with no charge. The owners are more like friends and the atmosphere is fun. What ever is needed wether information about what to do, where to eat, how things work in the city is freely given with kindness.

Had everything I needed for a wonderful stay in Chennai (the kitchen was a really great convenience as well). The location was ideal with many food options around and the metro so close. What made the stay above and beyond though were the hosts, Raj and Kumar. They were so helpful, kind, and great to talk with. Overall, highly recommend!

It’s clean, peaceful, and felt like a great place to start each day. The whole property is well-maintained, and you can tell there’s real care behind the scenes. Everything from the rooms to the common spaces had a calm, intentional vibe 🍃. What I appreciated most was the balance between community and personal space 🍂🪷. There were always friendly people around, but it never felt busy or overwhelming. I could join in or take time for myself, and both felt equally supported. Nitish was really helpful before I even arrived, sending clear directions and making the whole process simple 🛤️. Once I got there, he made sure I felt welcome. Lucky, who helps take care of the space, was kind and friendly too 🌼🙂. For what’s offered, the price is very fair 🍀. If you’re heading to Auroville and looking for a quiet, conscious place to stay, HostelExp is a great choice. I’d definitely come back 🌺✨.

I've brought many other Friends here without any concern from both ends being visitors or staff. 🌟 I came here to Boomerang for the First time Visiting Friends that I've met earlier on in another Community. I feel more Welcomed here, as I have heard my friends saying that the guests visiting them in the other community had to pay for their visit, whereas here, in comparison to this community the hospitality is genuine and pure. 🌟 I really like the vibe of the place and Shekar is a wonderful character. The conversations we've had here and the moments we've shared together lead me to making the descision to stay long after my friends deadline date came to go back to their home country. 🌏 I recommend this BOOMERANG COMMUNITY to anyone who is coming from abroad, interested in staying for multiple reasons, including to immerse oneself in local culture and language... Exploring new places in the area and outings can also be planned well here amongst the staff. The hygiene here and cleanliness in the area including the toilets are also maintained well. The two dogs here are lovely and happy to welcome new guests with a simple wag of their tail. The huts that I have been staying in are unique and look like none other compared to the ones that I have been to before... The cashew orchard is another interesting and welcoming sight. The bonfire area is chill with plenty of seats available for all guests.. Shekar is vegetarian but he can cook non-veg for you! 😉 Im 24 yrs old and I honestly recommend this place to people of all ages.
