Sya the receptionist in particular is very hospitable and helpful: no task or question will make her flinch or nervous. She is incredibly helpful and a net positive to the hostel with her work attitude. The housekeeping cleaners are very diligent with their work and never slacked off. Smoking corner has good ventilation and there is plenty of seating and power outlets. Also a tv with cable and spare computer, card games and board games. Laundry is affordable at 12 MYR for dry and wash and the staff will help you with it. There are ample toilets and shower and the place is very clean. Lots of hooks to hang your clothes. You can leave your bags and relax in the common area after checking out. The private room was extremely comfortable and spacious and the AC was strong. Tours are on offer and you pay in cash. Staff know exactly what they are doing and they are honest - I forgot to take out my money from my shorts pocket and the staff returned it to me promptly when doing my laundry. Very easy to make new friends here and it is a social place. Will come back!!!!!

I saw this hostel is incredibly high score which I cannot believe it, but when u stay u will know it definitely deserves the compliments and high score. Wishing William booming business!

Absolutely amazing ! The location is great , near to the pier and surrounded by shops and places to eat ! You have a decent breakfast in the morning and a dispenser of hot/cold water to refill your bottle , that's great to avoid plastic ! The woman who runs the hostel is lovely and so kind , she's gonna help you with everything , the rest or the staff are great as well ! Bathroom are clean all the time , with soap and hot water ! Definitely the place to stay in Semporna !

EZ Lodgings se află în Kampong Gadong, la aproximativ 2 minute de mers pe jos de The Mall și la 1,8 km de Magazinul Universal Hua Ho. I don't get the negative reviews as it's fine. The accommodation in the CBD is prohibitive for a budget traveller. This is a bargain. It's near the famous Gagong night and day market. Buses are not a problem either despite the press. No.1 leaves on the other side of the road directly opposite the mall main entrance. There's no obvious bus stop but the bus is easy to spot. The bus has Gadong mall on the front. It's one dollar and takes you to the central bus stop in town. I waited no more than 5 minutes both ways multiple times. Tours pick people up from Gadong. Clean, good shower and quiet (the good air con would mask any noise anyway). Two toilets was not a problem. Laundry machine available. Plenty of restaurants nearby and the mall has a mega supermarket in the basement. Excellent communication via WhatsApp even after midnight when I got in from the airport after a delay. They have a great cheap Dart driver who operates all hours and is punctual. All good reasons to stay here.
