This place really deserves all of the great reviews it has already received and I am here to leave one more! I stayed at Anam for 5 nights, seemingly quite unusual as most of my dorm mates stayed only one night while on the Camino. All of them seemed so relieved to get to Anam, often exclaiming 'it's so nice here!' upon arrival. So, it seems like it's a great place to relax and have a bit of luxury while you're on the Camino. For my part, I had a great stay. Super comfortable, it was such a luxury every night to wrap up in the fluffy white duvet! Very clean, and great breakfast. The surroundings are beautiful and really peaceful. Nate manages to walk that fine line of being helpful and friendly, but also leaving you to your own devices if it seems that's what you want.

We were driving up from Pico de Europa (and forest fires and giant EMD concerts in Canis de Oris) with no availability to stay anywhere for less than 200-$300 and then we found this spot! Arrived late, but the owner David was awesome. It's a fairly new hostel in a quiet rural area, but just lovely, with lawn and garden with fruit trees, lots of places to chill. David and his staff made it all that much better. He's got some long-term plans for different education and experiential projects, from surfing to hiking. He was a school teacher previous to his new life. I highly recommend the place. And the breakfast was the best I've ever had in a hostel -- scrambled eggs, as well as the cereals and fruit and yogurt... Very good.

COCOS SURFHOUSE se găsește pe malul mării în La Arena, la mai puțin de 1 km de Plaja de los Quebrantos, și are diverse facilități, printre care o grădină, un lounge comun și o terasă. I stayed here for a few days to relax after walking the Camino de Santiago and it was one of the best decisions of the trip. The hostel itself is beautifully decorated and comfy, with lots of nice spaces to relax. It's a 5 minute walk to the supermarket and about 10 minutes walking from the beach (you can borrow a bike if you want). I didn't take any surf lessons, but was able to get a ride with the others to a beach nearby. There are also a few nice hikes available in the area, that take you from beach to beach. Finally, the food was great! Breakfast was better than any hostel I have stayed in, and I loved the homecooked dinners. Bea made me feel very welcome, and I will definitely come back to this place!
