It was so clean, really comfy, the kitchen was well equipped. There were soap, shampoo, everything you need! The dorms room were so nice, with curtains for privacy, big lockers. We’ll recommend it !

Super nice and helpful staff, the hostel is clean and beds are comfortable. We had the double room with private bathroom and it was luxurious for that price! The locality is a big plus if you have a late/early bus connection since the bus terminal is located out of the center. WiFi was fast and reliable, the breakfast was same as on the pictures here. We regretted not staying more nights!

Rancho Grande Hostel is a large ranch-style hostel with stunning views of the Patagonian Mountains. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. We loved it. It has everything you need, including a restaurant. Super clean, very hygge, thumbs up:)

Set against an impressive Patagonian Mountain backdrop, Bla Guesthouse is a quaint guest house in downtown El Calafate. I really liked my stay - breakfast was included in the price (the price was very reasonable) - breakfast included scrambled eggs, coffee, toast etc, great service! The atmosphere is very pleasant, cozy and familiar, very easy to meet fellow travelers. Location is very central

The location is great as it's super close to the main bus terminal so if you have a heavy backpack/luggage and you're coming from El Calafate, it is really convenient. The rooms have a lot of power outlets, great for charging electronics and the showers are nice and hot. Hot water is also plentiful and I did not experience any issues with it despite being in a small trekking town. The free breakfast is a nice bonus - it is simple (being bread/toast, croissants and sometimes some sweet pastries with tea and coffee) but it's lovely to have something to eat for free in the mornings especially as the local food places are quite expensive, relatively speaking. The price speaks for itself, great value for money! The beds were comfy. Rooms were well heated and I went during Autumn when it could get as low as 0°C. I have to also shout out the amazing volunteers/staff. They were so friendly and helpful. I lost my cell phone walking near the hostel and one of the volunteers helped me look for it and went to the police station and tourist information centre with me as my Spanish was extremely limited. I luckily did end up finding it and I can't thank them enough.

In a city that has a lot of tourists, this place was very reasonably priced and they treated us like visitors, not tourists. They were honest about what they thought we should and shouldn't spend money on, and they were patient when our Spanish wasn't the best. The place has pretty big rooms and a nice kitchen.
