The stay was very pleasant. The owner Sunny ji made sure everything was alright and contacted me even prior to my arrival. The room and bathroom were clean and peaceful and the breakfast was tasty. After getting stuck in the floods, Sunny ji let me cancel the stay free of charge, for which I am also very grateful. I recommend this place to everyone!

Located in a quiet area, yet a few minutes walk away from all kinds of shops and a huge supermarket. This house is very spacious and full of daylight. The kitchen is equipped to cook a good meal, also a blender. Filtered water available. The place is kept clean. I stayed in a single room and also the queen room. Both rooms were spacious. Clean bathroom with hot water. Towels provided. The host was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay. It felt very safe and peaceful.

I spent a whole day looking for a suitable hostel in Kathmandu. After comparing 6 hostels, I finally chose Birds Nest. It turned out to be the best choice I made. I was attracted by the beautiful courtyard of the hostel at first, as if I was in the nature. Of course, the staff here are also super nice, we greeted and chatted every day.
