I stayed at the Kwabahal Garden Hostel and I can say that it is perfect for staying in Kathmandu. first of all the location is very central right in thamel. the kitchen is excellent, the rooms are very clean as are the bathrooms. the staff is very kind and professional. I highly recommend staying here whether you are a solo traveler or a couple.

As someone who travels frequently to Nepal and has stayed in almost all the hostels around Kathmandu, I can confidently say that Checkpoint KTM exceeded my expectations—especially for the price I paid. The beds were clean and super comfortable, each with privacy curtains, personal lights, and even charging ports, which made a big difference. I really appreciated the attached washroom with a reliable hot shower—something that’s surprisingly hard to find consistently in many hostels. The common area had a great vibe, perfect for meeting other travelers, and the co-working space was a huge bonus. I had to work late nights during my stay, and having a quiet, well-lit space outside the dorms meant I could stay productive without disturbing my roommates. Honestly, if you're looking for a place that balances comfort, convenience, and community—just book it. You won't be disappointed.

    I stayed 12 days altogether at Flock Hostel, on 3 separate periods through April-May, in a 4 bed, 6 bed and 10 bed ladies dorm. It was like a home away from home, in a great location, very safe, with a dedicated staff, from reception to travel desk, to restaurant, cleaning and general services personnel. Kudos, and keep it up! 👏👏👏
