Great Place, great people. It is a place for every type of person... you can have silence, nature, watch movies or read a book or you can connect with the people, have great conversations and a lot of fun. If the Mood is right, you play games together or listen to music and dance. It is really a magical and welcoming place.

Casa Mochila is an absolute gem. The owners Juan and Caro are incredible friendly and helpful. The property is a few kilometers outside of the town of Salento, but there's a bus that comes every 20mins. We preferred to be a bit more in the nature, so it was a perfect for us. The building is quite new and was designed by Juan himself. It has a jungle treehouse kind of feel. There is a Jacuzzi to use at nighttime, which is perfect to relax after hiking the Cocora Valley. Also there's a fireplace to cosy up next to in the evening. They have 2 beautiful dogs that are very sweet and friendly. There's drinks and food available, but if you want a party hostel vibe, this isn't the place for you. There's places in Salento if you want that. All in all, Casa Mochila was an amazing place to stay and I will be dreaming about it for years to come. Thank you Juan and Caro!!!
