Perfect stay at Iguana Azul in Chefchaouen My friend and I stayed at Iguana Azul for three nights and absolutely loved it. Our room was spotless, fresh, and felt almost new. The bed was huge and super comfortable, with two separate blankets — no fighting over the covers at night! There was also air conditioning, which made it even more comfortable. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and were always ready to assist with anything — whether it was questions about things to do in the area or helping us book a cooking class or hammam visit. Breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious, and the rooftop terrace is a beautiful, peaceful place to relax. The location is perfect too: right in the heart of Chefchaouen’s charming little streets. We truly felt at home and taken care of. This place is a gem and we’ll definitely come back. All units in the homestay are fitted with a coffee machine. There is a private bathroom with walk-in shower in some units, along with bathrobes, a hair dryer and free toiletries. At the homestay, units come with bed linen and towels. We had a very comfortable stay at chez Aissam. The welcome tea and cookies were nicely presented and very good. The room is decorated and has a king size bed. The shared bathroom was not a problem. It was cleaned all the time. The breakfast was excellent! And most important, Mr. Aissam is a very kind and helpful host. Highly recommended.
