I stayed in one of the budget rooms, which were surprisingly spacious, spotlessly clean, and quietly tucked away in the back garden; perfect for a calm night’s sleep. The food (both breakfast and dinner) was to die for. All home-cooked by the grandmother with so much love and flavour. The family was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to help us: sharing honest tips about what to visit in Anuradhapura, organising a half-day safari, and arranging transport with fair prices. But what makes this place truly special is their story. They started with just one room about 10 years ago and gradually grew to eleven, without ever raising their prices for food or accommodation. Hands down, this was the best quality stay and food I had in Sri Lanka so far.

Corner Cottage - Anuradhapura se encuentra en Anuradhapura, a 15 min a pie de Kada Panaha Tank y a 1,9 km de Kumbichchan Kulama Tank. Wonderful stay with Gihan and Dinu! We stayed twice for a total of 7 nights. A wonderful, authentic experience in Sri Lanka. They are extremely kind and welcoming. They speak English very well, and we were able to take the time to ask questions and discuss many topics such as culture, sports, politics, food, customs, etc. This allowed us to better understand this country. They truly care about their guests, making sure we have everything we need and giving great tips for visiting the city and its surroundings. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner if needed (we recommend trying it at least once because it's delicious). We did the cooking program, which involves buying ingredients at the market and then cooking together. It was great to see all the flavors they add to the dishes we enjoyed afterwards. They know a contact for a safari in Wilpattu National Park and can help organize it. Regarding the accommodation, it's located on a very quiet alley. There's a kitchen available and a pleasant terrace overlooking the small garden. The rooms are well-equipped and pleasant. We recommend a stay here for a wonderful human experience. Emerald Home Stay ofrece alojamiento bien ubicado en el centro de Anuradhapura, y tiene vistas al jardín y terraza. The room was amazing and very neat. It looked like a proper hotel room but at the same time the place had the welcoming ambiance of a homestay due to its lovely owners. They made a breakfast which was the best we have had! So definitely 10/10 recommend!

MONI FARM HOUSE WILPATTU dispone de alojamiento con aire acondicionado en Nochchiyagama. Hay terraza, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Las habitaciones son enormes, nuevas y con un porche a un jardín, el trato fue encantador, la comida muy rica y la ayuda al organizar el safari fueron de 10, volvería sin lugar a duda.

Wilpattu Mookalan Resort, que cuenta con bicicletas gratis, jardín y wifi gratis, se encuentra en Habawewa, a 39 km de Kumbichchan Kulama Tank y a 39 km de Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. La amabilidad de toda la familia es espectacular. Se preocupan por todo. Ubicación fantástica pues está a las puertas del PN Wilpattu. Cena muy abundante, hay que decirle que ponga menos para no tirar comida, pero estaba riquísima.

We loved everything!We could stay there for our whole trip!The owners are a lovely and respectful family!They helped us a lot about our excursions around the area!The place is a peaceful paradise!I totally recommend Lake wind! *Extra tip: I really enjoyed stay during the night at the balcony and listen the nature sounds.its amazing!

Swan Lake Habarana se encuentra en Habarana, a 12 km de Pidurangala Rock, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. Kalhara made our stay perfect. He organized wonderful tours (safari, temples, dance show), and her wife prepared amazing breakfast and dinner! Everyday we had a different menu, always good and with Sri Lankan delicacies. The room was huge, spotless clean, with a very comfortable bed. The garden is beautiful, with palm trees and flowers, with a nice patio where we relaxed before dinner.. We had also a very nice walk close to the lake and ricefields, from the road in front of the hotel. We strongly recommend Swan lake to everyone wants to enjoy Habarana area

Golden Ray villa está en el centro de Anuradhapura y ofrece alojamiento con vistas al jardín, jardín y terraza. Difícil encontrar una relación calidad-precio superior a esta. Sin lujos, pero con todo lo necesario para una estancia perfecta para visitar la ciudad. Y lo más destacable la atención del propietario. Ayuda en todo lo necesario y te hace sentir muy cómodo. Desayuno muy completo también

Oleena Home Stay tiene vistas al jardín y está en Habarana. Cuenta con restaurante, servicio de habitaciones, cafetería, jardín y terraza. El alojamiento de Jeewa y Masha fue de los mejores que estuvimos en Sri Lanka. Está en una parte muy tranquila de Habarana, rodeado de naturaleza. La habitación es amplia y está limpia, con terraza para tomar el fresco y un porche muy agradable para los desayunos y las cenas. Jeewa era super antento y nos ayudó a contratar un safari y otros traslados. Habarana fue una base ideal para ver Pidurangala, Sigiriya, Polonaruwa, etc. Sin duda, lo recomendamos!!

We had such a peaceful and beautiful stay at this home stay. Highly recommend stopping in here on your visit to Anuradhapura. The hosts were super welcoming and helpful, made us feel like part of the family. Very clean and tidy spaces. The home cooked dinner and breakfast was DELICIOUS and can highly recommend the tuk tuk adventure to see Mihintele at sunset 🏔️🙂
