We can highly recommend to stay here. A bonus was that we woke up with views of Mt Fuji on our last day. Thank you Yumiko for an unforgettable experience!

The highlight of the experience was definitely the vegan dinner and breakfast – both were absolutely delicious! For dinner, we had a variety of flavorful dishes that were fresh, creative, and satisfying. The breakfast was equally impressive. The accommodation itself was cozy and clean, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with amazing vegan food.

The staff are very responsive both online and in person (you can call staff using a button within the accommodation). Our room was spacious and the futons were comfortable. I liked the shared bath (you can lock the doors for privacy), which has 2 showers, faucets in the middle that you can fill a bucket with (very hot and cold water), and a big bath with hot water. The price was also excellent given that we went in mid-November when the foliage was beautiful. We especially liked that we could rent bikes from the property- 2 regular (500 yen each) and 2 electric (2,000 yen each) for the whole day. The owner personally informed us about each of the features on the property and was kind enough to give us a ride back to Kawaguchico station before our bus left. The location is good, in a residential area not too far from a pretty area of the lake, 7 min walk from 7/11 and some of the most local restaurants I've been to (the owner will inform you about them when you get there). Overall, the attention to detail and making us feel welcome was fantastic- I'd stay here again!

Host was really friendly and welcoming, when we arrived at the station he was waiting there to pick up our luggage, so we could directly go explore! Spacious and comfortable rooms. Nice communal kitchen and bathroom areas. Beds are a bit hard (for a side sleeper), but you might get two mattresses :) Loved the room. Wonderful and very friendly and helpful host. Location is rather off the beaten track - and we loved that. Easy walking or rent a bicycle. For arrival and departure, the wonderful host will drive you from/to train station. Contacting her via Whatsup is best - just a hint! A number of restaurants within walking distance. Loved the residential neighborhood with rice fields that Guesthouse En is located in - so beautiful.
